About the Bakersfield Rudolph Run
The Bakersfield Rudolph Run circles Lake Ming, a reservoir east of downtown with open water views and a paved path that stays mostly flat. The course is decorated for the holidays, and the costume contest gives people a reason to show up in full reindeer gear. Donations from the event support a local mission serving food and shelter to people in need.
Packet pickup is race morning only, at the lake. There is no separate pickup the day before, so plan to arrive with a little extra time. A hot cocoa bar is set up at the finish area.
