About the Badger South Prediction 5K
The race starts and finishes at the Country Mercantile, routing out along paved sidewalks and pedestrian paths through the surrounding streets. The course rolls a bit but never gets steep, and the whole thing stays on asphalt and paved trail the entire way.
The format is a prediction run: you pick your own start time based on how long you expect to finish, then run without a watch and try to cross the line at the target time. It takes the pressure of racing off and puts the focus squarely on knowing your own pace.
