About the Bacon & Bubbles 5K or 1 Mile

The course runs along the St. Clair River, starting and finishing in the parking lot outside a riverside restaurant and taproom. The route is flat riverfront ground, and the surroundings give you open water views for most of it. Registration and post-race activities happen in the courtyard of the hotel next door, where there is bacon waiting when you get back.

Packet pickup runs the two days before the race at a local shop on Huron Avenue, with a race-morning option on the hotel's outdoor patio. The start area doubles as the activity hub, so families tend to hang around after finishing rather than head straight to the parking lot.
