About the 2026 Auggie's 5K Run & Walk
The course runs on a paved riverside trail along the Ohio River, with runners and walkers splitting at the start and heading in opposite directions before both finishing on Viking Drive. It is a flat out-and-back on the trail, and the river is with you the whole way.
The start is at a middle school, so there is typically a parking lot on site. The race benefits the local animal shelter, and that cause tends to draw a crowd that is as interested in the dogs as the clock.
