About the Athena's Run for GYN Cancer
This is a benefit race for gynecologic cancer awareness, and the cause shapes the whole morning. The event draws survivors, patients, and supporters alongside runners, and the atmosphere is built around that community, not just the race itself.
Alongside the run, there is an outdoor expo with local nonprofits, vendors selling handmade goods, and raffles. A coffee truck is there from the start, and a smokehouse and a shaved-ice truck round out the food. A DJ keeps things moving through the morning.
