About the Ancient Oaks 100-Mile Endurance Run
The course is a loop through the Enchanted Forest Nature Sanctuary, repeated many times over a day and a night and into the next morning. Each lap moves through a mix of surfaces: sand, grass two-track, wood-chip trail, rooty single-track, a couple of boardwalk sections, a short bridge, and one sharp little hill. The footing changes constantly and keeps you honest.
Entry works through a lottery-style waiting list that opens for a single month in summer. The field is capped small by agreement with the park. There is no buckle for finishing; the race is explicit about that. It is invitation-only and no-fee, which together make the entry process unlike most hundred-milers.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Ancient Oaks 100-Mile Endurance Run has been held every year since at least 2017. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
