About the AHS Booster Club Cupid's 5 K- Run With Your Heart
The course starts at a middle school, winds through neighborhood streets past an elementary school, and finishes on the grounds of the high school whose athletic program the race supports. The route is point-to-point through familiar residential blocks, and the finish area draws a crowd of supporters with music and food set up around the school.
Strollers are welcome and asked to line up at the back of the start. Post-race, there is food and a celebration on the high school grounds, along with an attire contest for anyone who runs in Valentine's Day gear. Parking and staging are spread between the schools along the route.
