About the Anacortes Santa Run
The course starts at a park near the marina and follows a trail south before looping back through the waterfront. It is flat the whole way, mostly paved path, with water views for much of the run. Everyone runs in a Santa suit, which the race provides, so the field looks exactly like you would expect.
Packet pickup happens the two evenings before the race at the Rockfish Grill beer garden on Commercial Ave, which is the tent behind the restaurant. There is a race-morning pickup option for out-of-town runners. After the finish, there are cookies, coffee, and hot cocoa. The first man and woman across the line take home a gallon of eggnog.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a decent-sized field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Anacortes Santa Run has been held every year since at least 2021. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
