About the Amity Island 5K & Fun Run
The course runs from the Farm Institute in Katama, out along a bike path and then down Edgartown Bay Road toward South Beach, turning back to finish where it started. The road is flat the whole way, with open farmland around you for most of the route. It draws families and kids, and the farm setting is part of the draw.
Registration and number pickup happen on race morning at the start. Parking is tight out that way, so the organizers push carpooling, biking over, or catching the VTA. No dogs, which makes sense given the farm.
