About the All-Out Dog Days
The course follows Big Dry Creek Trail out and back, starting from an office park. The surface is mostly concrete with stretches of softer ground that increase on the longer routes, including a section of gravel through a regional park. The trail runs northeast, and the Flatirons sit on the horizon the whole way. Dogs race in their own division alongside their humans.
Early packet pickup happens the evening before at a local running store. On race morning, pickup opens well before the first wave goes off, but closes tight before each distance starts, so arriving early matters. The staggered start means shorter and longer distances all share the same morning without much overlap.
