The course starts and finishes at Downtown Bellevue Park, then heads out along city streets. It is a road race through an urban neighborhood, flat enough that strollers and dogs are a common sight on the course. The race benefits a nonprofit focused on organ donation awareness and youth heart screenings, which gives the morning a clear sense of purpose.
