About the Akash Wine Run 5k

The course winds through orchard rows at a winery outside Temecula, with grass underfoot for most of the route. It is not a road race; the surface has some uneven patches, so trail shoes or sturdy trainers are a better choice than road flats. Dogs on leash and strollers are welcome out there.

Packet pickup opens on race morning, an hour before the start, so plan to arrive early enough to park and collect your bib before your wave goes off. Wine is part of the post-race spread on the winery's open-air patio.
