About the 2026 Aiken Turkey Trot and 1-Mile Fun Run
The course runs on flat pavement and starts and finishes near the entrance to Citizen's Park, off Pine Log Road. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome, and a costume contest runs alongside the race, with a couple of prize winners chosen from the best-dressed crowd. The event benefits Toys for Tots, so many runners show up with an unwrapped toy in hand.
Packet pickup is held the evening before at the park complex off Pine Log Road, and race-morning pickup opens early before the first wave goes off. Chip-timed registration is not available at the door, so advance registration is the only way to get an officially timed result. The chip-timed and untimed options run separately, with awards following later in the morning.
