About the Force Against Cancer 5k

The course runs through a Centerville-Washington Park district park, and the surroundings are the main draw: mature trees, open park space, and enough room that the route never feels crowded. The race benefits the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, and that cause pulls a crowd that is clearly there for more than a morning jog.

Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at a local running store on Far Hills Ave. On race morning, registration opens at Schoolhouse Park before the start. Food and an awards ceremony follow the race.
