About the 9/11 Run to Remember
The race starts and finishes at a permanent 9/11 memorial in Clovis, said to be the largest of its kind outside New York City. The morning opens with a ceremony and the national anthem before runners set off, so the start has more weight to it than most local races. The atmosphere is solemn and deliberate, shaped by the site itself.
Parking across the street from the memorial is free, and volunteers are stationed to guide people in. Packet pickup is available the evening before at the Clovis Rodeo Grounds, with a second pickup window early on race morning for those who cannot make the prior-evening session.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a decent-sized field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The 9/11 Run to Remember has been held every year since at least 2025. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
