About the 6th Annual 7th President 7K Run
The course winds through the grounds where Andrew Jackson once lived, mixing grass fields, a stretch of trail, and paved path. You pass Tulip Grove Mansion and the old Hermitage Church before finishing in front of the Hermitage Mansion itself. Underfoot it is varied enough to feel like cross-country, though nothing is technically demanding.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at Fleet Feet in Mt. Juliet, with race-morning pickup available on site. Parking is accessed from Old Hickory Boulevard, and volunteers direct you from there. Strollers are strongly discouraged given the unpaved sections, and dogs are not permitted on the course itself.
