About the 7 Creeks Vineyard Christmas Wine Run 5k
The course runs through a family-owned vineyard in the Hill Country, so the surroundings are wine country rather than pavement and parking lots. The Christmas theme carries through the morning, and there is a pour of wine at the finish. Age group awards are available for competitive runners who start with the first wave.
Packet pickup opens on race morning, about an hour before the start, so there is no need to make a separate trip the day before. The start area is at the vineyard itself, which gives the whole morning a destination feel rather than a generic road-race setup.
