About the 5K Family Fun Run and One-Mile Fun Walk
This Halloween-themed race runs a looping course inside Otsego Regional Park, on a path shared with the public. The terrain is park trail, the route doubles back on itself, and runners keep to the right to let faster people pass on the left. It is a costume-friendly morning, with kids activities running alongside the race.
Parking inside the park is limited, so arriving early helps. Overflow parking lines a street just outside the park. The event benefits a local marching band and winter performing arts program.
