About the 5K 4 Hope & Hunger Relief
The course runs along the Arizona Grand Canal trail near Roosevelt, a paved path that stays flat the whole way. It is open to runners, walkers, and anyone using a wheelchair or stroller. The surroundings feel more neighborhood than park, with the canal giving the route a clear linear shape and a bit of shade depending on the time of year.
Registration and packet pickup both happen on race day at Streets of Destiny on East Van Buren Street, which also serves as the post-race gathering spot for the awards presentation. Arriving a little early makes the morning smoother, especially if you are signing up that day.
