About the 48th Colonial Half Marathon and 5K

The course winds through the streets of Colonial Williamsburg, passing the Governor's mansion, the Capitol Building, and Duke of Gloucester Street before heading out on a quiet country road for a long out-and-back stretch. The finish demands something extra: a steep climb up Fortitude Hill that the race is almost defined by. Underfoot you get a mix of pavement and gravel path, with genuine history on either side.

Packet pickup is race morning only, in a party tent near the start on Nassau Street. Several parking options sit within easy walking distance, including a free lot at the College of William and Mary and a covered garage on Prince George Street. Beer and pizza are waiting at the post-race celebration.
