About the 4 on the 4th Road Race
This is an out-and-back course starting from Railroad Square on Main Street, so the route is straightforward and you always know where you are relative to home. The proceeds go to a local nonprofit, which draws a crowd that leans more neighborhood than competitive circuit.
Packet pickup runs the day before at Ted's, with race-morning pickup available right up until close to the start. No dogs or backpacks on the course, but strollers are welcome. The start area is right on Main Street, so parking and finding the start line should be simple enough.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2026 results, this is a decent-sized field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The 4 on the 4th Road Race has been held every year since at least 2017. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
