About the 2Slow4Boston Marathon, Half & 50K
The course is a short asphalt loop through a quiet residential neighborhood with gently rolling hills, repeated many times over depending on which distance you enter. The whole point of this race is that finishing last is the goal: prize money goes to the slowest marathon finishers, and the final few across the line in the other distances get trophies and gift cards.
Because the route is a repeating loop, you pass the start area again and again throughout the race, which makes crew support easy and lets you drop without a long walk back. Spectators can watch from one spot and see you more than once.
