About the 2026Citizens Run Against Cancer Half Marathon & 5K
The course starts in downtown Victoria, winds through Riverside Park, and finishes at DeLeon Plaza. It is designed to move through the heart of the city, so there is genuine variety in the surroundings as you go. The race benefits cancer patients at a local medical center, and that purpose is felt throughout the morning.
Packet pickup runs the two evenings before the race at a local health and fitness facility. On race morning, parking opens early in a downtown garage, with additional street parking around the course. There is a costume and team parade near the start, with awards for the most creative entries.
