About the 17th Lake Union 10K Run/Walk
The course traces a clockwise loop around Lake Union on the Chesiahud Lake Union Trail, starting in Lake Union Park. You cross the Fremont Bridge early, head east along the Burke Gilman, then loop back via the University Bridge before winding through Eastlake and along Fairview back to the park. The terrain is paved trail throughout, mostly flat with bridge crossings along the way.
Packet pickup happens at a few spots in the days before the race, including a local running store in West Seattle and a north-lake running shop, with a race-morning option at Lake Union Park for a small added fee. Parking is available to the east, south, and west of the event site. Strollers are welcome at the back of the pack; dogs are not permitted on course.
