Every upcoming 10K around Centennial, with start times, entry fees, finish-time stats from past editions, start-line maps, and the local run clubs to train with.
Centennial is threaded through with greenbelts that make 6.2 miles feel like a tour rather than a grind. The High Line Canal, Cherry Creek State Park, and the creek trails that lace between neighborhood open spaces give everyday runs genuine variety - flatter canal stretches giving way to the gullies and ravines that add quiet climbing to routes most people outside the city assume are flat.
The race calendar here leans toward themed, community-spirited events where the vibe is welcoming and the finish-line shirt is essentially a given. Resolute Brewing and the trail corridors near Cherry Creek are where you will find runners before and after race day, and that low-key social thread runs through the events themselves.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 17, 2026.
Common Questions About Running a 10K in Centennial
Will I get a shirt at a Centennial 10K?
Every race in the lineup says it gives a shirt. That is unusually consistent - all 29 races publish giveaway details and every one of them includes a shirt. None of them mention a medal, but on the shirt front, you are covered regardless of which race you pick.
When do most Centennial 10Ks happen?
Fall is the busiest stretch, with 12 races running September through November. August is the single busiest month, with 5 races. If your training block peaks in summer or early fall, you will have solid options - and even February, the quietest month, still has races on the calendar.
Are Centennial 10Ks good for first-timers?
The calendar is dominated by themed, multi-distance events - runs named for donuts, coffee, and bagels - where the atmosphere tends to be casual and inclusive. The 10K sits alongside 5K and half marathon options at nearly every event, so you can toe the line at a distance that fits where you are in training without feeling out of place.
