About the Zombie Trail Fun Run
The course loops around the grounds of Camp Anderson, a wooded camp setting outside town. Along the way, actors in zombie costumes lurk in designated zones and try to snatch the flag football flags each runner wears on a belt. The race is untimed, and awards go to the fastest survivor, the runner who finishes with the most flags intact, and the best-dressed runner and scariest zombie.
Check-in and day-of registration open well before the start and close before the gun goes off. Cash or check is the only payment accepted on race day. The event is a fundraiser for the local public library and Camp Anderson, and proceeds go directly to both.
