About the Zion Ultras Charity Bibs
The course runs across high-desert mesas on singletrack, slickrock, and exposed trail, starting and finishing at Smithsonian Butte. Sustained climbs and narrow rim sections keep it demanding, with technical footing that asks a lot mentally. The payoff is constant: wide sightlines across the canyon to the sandstone formations and the Virgin River far below.
These are charity bibs, meaning entry comes through personal fundraising rather than standard registration. Runners commit to raising a minimum that varies by distance, and once half that goal is met, a registration code follows. Funds go to a nonprofit partner or a cause of the runner's choosing, with a portion supporting the communities the courses pass through.
