About the Zacks Place Thanksgiving Turkey Trot
The course winds through the historic village center, loops past a working farm and along a quiet avenue, then circles back through the Town Green before finishing at the elementary school where it started. The surroundings feel exactly like a Thanksgiving morning should, and the route draws everyone from fast runners to grandparents pushing carriages. A band plays near the start.
Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at Woodstock Elementary School, which also serves as the start and finish. Race-morning registration opens well before the gun. Several parking lots are spread around town, including spots at a farm museum, a country club, and a few lots along the meadow roads. Street parking is limited to a handful of roads away from the Village Green.
