About the Yuma Territorial Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k and Team Relay
The course runs south on the shoulder of a US highway from Cocopah Casino and Resort, passing through Somerton and continuing into San Luis before turning back north to finish where it started. The terrain is essentially flat with a gentle drop early on and a modest climb back in the final stretch. Mile markers line the route, and hydration stations appear at nearly every one.
Packet pickup happens the evening before at the Cocopah Resort Hotel, with race-morning check-in available under the awning by the casino's main entrance. Start waves are staggered by distance, and awards follow in the late morning. The start and finish share the same spot outside the casino.
