About the YMCA of Barry County Turkey Trot
The course rolls through rural roads near the camp on Thanksgiving morning, turning along a handful of country roads before finishing on the camp's front lawn. The fun run follows a trail down to Iroquois Trail and back to the same finish. Top adult finishers win a turkey from a local farm, and the best-dressed runner in festive fall gear takes home a prize too.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the YMCA building on Iroquois Trail, with race-morning pickup available at the same location before the start. Parking is split between two lots nearby; carpooling is encouraged because spots are limited. Hot cocoa and water are waiting on the front lawn after you finish. Donation tables for non-perishable food are in both lots.
