About the YMCA Harrison Classic Kids Run
The course runs down Harrison Boulevard and finishes at McAuley Park. It is a straight shot on road, point-to-point, so kids are moving toward the finish the whole time rather than looping back. Younger children go in waves after the older ones, which keeps the start from turning into a scramble.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a local running store, with race-morning pickup available at the corner where drop-off happens. The start line is on Harrison Boulevard just before Hill Road, and the finish is in the park at the other end.
