The course runs through residential neighborhoods along Bass River, and the organizers describe it as flat throughout. It is a road race, so expect pavement the whole way. The dedication this year is to a longtime local runner and physical education teacher who was deeply involved in organizing the race, and that history shows in how the event is put together.
