About the Wyoming Pure 5K Ranch Run
The course starts at the Wyoming Pure building and heads out on pavement before turning onto dirt roads and two-track trails through active ranch land. Cattle and horses are part of the scenery along the way, and Laramie Peak sits on the horizon for most of the run. The footing shifts between gravel, packed dirt, and open pasture before looping back to the start.
Proceeds support the Marge Cares Foundation, which helps people who need to travel for medical care, and the local middle and high school cross country team. The finish area has food and a general fall gathering feel, with door prizes open to everyone who ran.
