About the Woodmen Hills Monster Mash 5k and Beer Run
The Monster Mash is a Halloween costume run, so expect a lot of creative outfits on course. The main event is a 5k, followed later in the afternoon by a beer run sponsored by Black Forest Brewing Company. A kids dash runs earlier in the morning, making it a full day rather than just a race.
The festival grounds stay busy all day with bounce houses, trick-or-treating, a beer garden, food vendors, and live music. It reads more like a Halloween block party that happens to have a timed race in it than a pure running event.
