About the Woodland Creek Memorial Day 5K
The course runs clockwise through a residential neighborhood, looping into several smaller side streets before returning to the lodge parking lot where it started. The route is on paved roads with police at the entrance for traffic control, and the surroundings are quiet subdivision streets. It reads like a neighborhood run more than a road race, which suits the setting.
Packet pickup happens at the lodge over the two days before the race, with a race-morning option as well. Parking is spread across nearby side streets rather than a single lot. After the finish, there are donuts, fruit, and beer for those of legal age, plus a raffle, a bounce house, and yard games.

The Woodland Creek Memorial Day 5K has been held every year since at least 2023. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
