About the Wonderful Water Run: Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and Kid's Run
The course follows city trails, paths, and roads through Stevens Point, tracing the Wisconsin River and passing Lake Joanis. The terrain is mixed, moving between paved and natural surfaces, with the river and lake keeping things scenic through most of the route. Several distance options make it work for different legs on the same morning.
The kids' run takes place the evening before the main event at a local technical college, which also serves as the packet pickup site that night. On race morning, the start area moves to Pfiffner Pioneer Park, where the longer distances get underway.
