About the Wolfpack 5K: The Great Turkey Chase
The course starts and ends on Prairie Ridge High School property, dipping into the adjacent residential neighborhood before looping back. It is not a certified course, but chip timing is used, so your result is accurate. Part of the draw is a challenge woven into the race: chase down a live baby turkey along the way, and if you finish ahead of it, you earn an extra prize.
Packet pickup the evening before is at the high school's stadium ticket building, with same-day pickup inside the cafeteria. The lineup forms just outside the cafeteria near the stadium before the start. Results are posted immediately after the race, and awards are handed out from a station inside the cafeteria.
