About the Witch Run Half Marathon - 10K - 5K
All three courses run out and back along the Jordan River Parkway, a flat trail that follows the river. The start and finish are at Gardner Village, which fills up with elaborate full-body witch displays for Halloween. After you finish, the village has a scavenger hunt where you try to find all the witches.
Packet pickup the evening before is at Salt Lake Running Company on State Street in Sandy, and race-morning pickup is available in the east parking lot at Gardner Village for a small additional fee. Parking at Gardner Village is tight during Halloween season, so the organizers ask runners to take the UTA TRAX light rail, which stops directly at the Historic Gardner Village Station.
