About the Windham Center 5K In Memory of Elliot P Fogg
This race runs through Windham Center and is held in memory of a local man who spent decades as a custodian at the high school and served in World War II. The donations go to a lung cancer organization, which gives the afternoon a quiet weight. Cash prizes go to the overall winners, and age-group awards run deep.
Registration opens in the late afternoon on race day at Windham Town Hall, at the corner of School Road and Windham Center Road. A free dinner from a local restaurant is part of the post-race spread.
