About the Will Run for Pie - Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk
The course runs on the Ghost Trail, an out-and-back path with a short detour through neighborhood streets. The trail is paved and the terrain stays level the whole way, so there is nothing to climb. A water stop sits roughly in the middle of the route. Winners take home actual pies, and costumes are part of the scene.
Bib pickup runs the evening before at Winner's Circle Sports Bar, with race-morning pickup available as well. Post-race festivities, including a pie raffle, happen back at the bar after the finish. The race supports a local nonprofit focused on food insecurity in the area.
