About the Will Run for Cannoli 5K
The course runs through Lions Park and out into the surrounding area, looping around a lake and a golf course, passing through an underpass along the way. The route doubles back on itself, so you cover some of the same ground twice. Course marshals and signs are posted throughout, and a water station appears at a couple of points on the route.
Packet pickup opens a couple of days before the race at Foot of the Rockies, a local running store, with race-morning pickup also available. Parking is not a scramble: Lions Park has a small lot near the pavilion, a larger lot just beyond it, and additional space at the Cheyenne Botanic Garden. Restrooms are at the pavilion. Homemade cannoli wait at the finish.
