About the Wildcat Summer Cup - August 5K
This installment of an informal summer series runs from Union Station Train Shed, a historic downtown landmark that gives the start area real character. The course is marked and hand timed, with results kept casual on purpose. The draw is as much the potluck brunch afterward as the race itself, and runners bring their own food and drinks to share at the finish.

The Wildcat Summer Cup - August 5K has been held every year since at least 2022. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
