About the 2026 WILDCAT PRIDE 5k Turkey Trot

This Turkey Trot starts at the Lakeview Community Wellness Center and finishes at Lakeside Park, so the route is a point-to-point rather than a loop. The course is a road race through town on a holiday morning, drawing families and individuals of all paces. A portion of the proceeds goes to a local community fund.

Packet pickup runs the evening before the race at the Wellness Center, with a short morning window on race day as well. Age group awards are pumpkin pies, handed out to the top finishers across a range of brackets for both adults and youth.

Common Questions About the 2026 WILDCAT PRIDE 5k Turkey Trot

Will I finish last at the 2026 WILDCAT PRIDE 5k Turkey Trot?

Almost certainly not. Half the 3.1 Miles field finished slower than 33:44, and the last recorded finisher came in around 1:09:21, so there is a long tail of runners behind the middle of the pack. Most fields are far slower than people expect.

Is the 2026 WILDCAT PRIDE 5k Turkey Trot a good first 3.1 Miles?

A field of 250 is big enough that you will have company at your pace without feeling lost in a crowd. There is no qualifying time, and the finish-time spread above shows how varied the field really is. If it is your first 3.1 Miles, that spread matters more than the winner's time.

How competitive is the 2026 WILDCAT PRIDE 5k Turkey Trot?

The 3.1 Miles winner ran 17:10 while the median finisher took 33:44. That spread points to a broad, mostly recreational field rather than a race dominated by club runners.
