About the Wild Irish Run
Both courses are paved and run through downtown Guntersville, with views along Lake Guntersville throughout. The longer route has small rolling hills and covers more of the waterfront; the shorter one stays closer to the lake on a scenic out-and-back style path. Neither course is flat in the strict sense, but the hills are brief and nothing builds to a grind.
The recreation center on Sunset Drive serves as race headquarters. Packet pickup runs the evening before at that same location, with an early race-morning window as well for those who cannot make the prior session.
