About the Wild Flowers 10k

The course starts at the Auburn Overlook and heads into the surrounding trails. Expect a loop with real climbing: what goes down comes back up, and Auburn's terrain does not pretend otherwise. There are sections of single-track mixed with wider stretches where you can settle into a pace, and a few viewpoints along the way that give you a reason to pause.

Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at a local running store on Sacramento Street, with race-morning pickup available at the start. Parking is spread across several spots near Old Town, including a park, a high school, and a couple of public lots. Some of those require a short walk to the start, so arriving early helps. A complimentary breakfast is served in the pavilion after the race.
