About the Widdy's Work presents Stomp Out the Stigma
The course runs through Fort Steilacoom Park, starting and finishing near Waughop Lake. The longer route stays mostly flat on paved paths with a short stretch of dirt and gravel; the shorter option loops the lake itself. The surroundings are park green, and the race is built around mental health awareness rather than a finish-line time.
Parking is on a nearby college campus, with a short trail walk down to the park. Packet pickup is available the day before the race at a picnic shelter near the main entrance, and there is also a race-morning option, though lines are possible then.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Widdy's Work presents Stomp Out the Stigma has been held every year since at least 2023. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
