About the White Elephant 5K/10K - Clearwater
The course loops Lake Hollingsworth, which keeps the terrain flat and the pace honest. There is not much climbing to speak of, and the path around the lake gives you a clear sense of where you are in the race the whole time. Self-serve water stations are spaced out along the route, so runners who plan to push hard may want to carry their own hydration.
Packet pickup happens race morning, starting an hour before the gun. There is no separate pre-race evening pickup unless the organizers add one closer to the date, so plan to arrive with enough time to get sorted before the start.
