About the Whiskey Tango Foxtrot Trail Half Marathon & 5 Mile

The course runs through Northeast Park on natural trail, and the conditions are genuinely unpredictable. Some years the ground is hard and dry; others it is a slick, muddy mess. The half marathon distance crosses the Reedy Fork River twice, which can range from a wade to something more serious depending on recent weather. A ruck option runs alongside the foot race.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at Fleet Feet in Greensboro, with race-morning pickup available at the park before the first wave goes out. Parking is spread across several lots around the park, and volunteers are out to point you in the right direction. Post-race, there is food and beer at the finish.
