About the WHINE UP THE HILL
The course starts with a steep climb that will test your legs, then drops you into a vineyard for the back half. Local wineries set up tasting tables along the route, so participants of drinking age can sample while they go. There is also a shorter kids' dash that loops around the hilltop. Proceeds go to a pregnancy care nonprofit in southern Kentucky.
The event is held at a retreat property called Maple Retreat in Park City. Packet pickup runs shortly before the start, so there is no need to come out the day before. Photo ID is required at pickup if you plan to participate in the wine tastings.
