About the WGPAL Donut Dash 5K

The course runs through the historic downtown streets and out toward Lake Apopka, passing through established neighborhoods on road surfaces. The race has a donut-eating twist: scattered along the route are donut stations where eating slows your clock time, so there is a real strategic choice between running hard and stopping to eat. Costume competitions add to the atmosphere.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at the Winter Garden Police Department, with race-morning pickup available at Newton Park, which also serves as the start area. A kids fun run follows the main event, and each adult entry covers children in your group at no extra cost.
